Chris for Judge

The Local Choice for Yolo County.

Meet Chris Dietrich

I am a life long resident of Yolo County. I was raised in Davis and live in Woodland. I currently practice law here.

I’ve spent the last ten years helping the residents of Yolo County with their civil legal matters. Throughout my legal career I have dedicated myself to serving the community and partnering with the courts to assist in the administration of justice. I’ve ran a monthly free legal clinic for survivors of domestic violence for the last nine years. I have also worked as a Temporary Judge for the past four years where I’ve had hands on experience working as a judicial officer on real cases.

As soon as I entered the legal profession, I knew I wanted to be a Judge. I have a profound appreciation for the work of judges and the impact that the work has on the people’s lives and on the community. It is challenging and rewarding work that I am prepared to do with my ten years of litigation experience.

I have known Chris Dietrich for several years and worked with him in many capacities. I have had cases with him, referred cases to him, as well as worked with him on various pro-bono committees that improve the practice of law. He is a very strong advocate, but he is also very reasonable and respectful to those involved. He is patient, knowledgeable and humble which are all the qualities that one should look for in a judicial officer. He has a very even temperament which is also important when sitting on the bench.
